"Stopped here for fish and chips on our return to our holiday cottage 10 minutes drive away We decided to eat in as there was a small eating area both indoors and out. There was no extra charge for eating in. The staff were really friendly and welcoming and didn't make us feel rushed at all when we were deciding what to have. The food was superb. Portions were more than generous and value for money was excellent. My daughter and I had fish bites and chips. The batter on the fish bites was lovely and the chips are like steak chips. My daughter said they are best fish bites and chips she's ever had. My partner had mixed doner meat and chips and said it was, quite simply, delicious. Highly recommend and if we were local we would most definitely become regulars."

"My favourite is their chicken (southern fried or roast) full of flavour. My 2 boys love their kebab and pizza. Fish and chips are also delicious. Very friendly atmosphere. Whenever we are in Minsterley we make sure to get our food from them."

Really enjoyable and tasty food which means that we will return to Friends. Wish we had one a bit closer to us but the drive is worth it. Thank you for the delicious food and extra chicken curry."

"Huge portions, excellent price. Chips were a little bit greasy (but we did travel for 6 miles in the car before we ate them). Inhad a greek kebab - meat and bread were amazing, I didn't get anywhere near finishing it though! Would definitely recommend if in the area."

"Wow, this chippy is extremely good - The fish was literally the best I have ever eaten! I'm not exactly sure what they do different compared to other takeaways, but the batter was golden brown while the fish just fell apart in the mouth. I'm convinced they use fresh fish, rather than frozen. The chips were clearly homemade and a decent chunky size, cooked nicely and tasted quite good. They must have noticed that I was a new customer because they included a free large sausage and a pot of curry sauce, which was much appreciated. To top it all off the lady behind the counter was very friendly and polite. Though the star of the show was the fish. Very impressed."
